Hi! My name is Lindsay Jensen. I was born and raised here in the Mini Cassia area. I am married and have four children. I have always loved sports and being active. I studied martial arts starting at the age of 8. I am a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo. I was the only woman on my college Olympic style sparring team. I studied sports medicine and went on to buy a martial arts school. While I owned LJ's Intermountain Martial Arts I had the honor of being the coach for Team Idaho in 2004 and took a group to compete in the Wold championships in Athens, Greece. I represented Idaho in the Women's 2nd to 4th degree black belt division and brought home two gold medals in forms and sparring. I would love to test for my 5th degree (Masters) in Taekwondo and eventually become a Supreme Grand Master (9th degree). I am a NASM certified Personal Trainer and would like to specialize in MMA conditioning. I love getting to know my clients and helping them on their way to a healthier lifestyle. I currently teach Zumba, Step and Tone, and shortly will be teaching Strong. I've also helped with the Distinguished Young Women program fitness portion since 2012. I am so grateful to be involved in teaching fitness. It certainly has helped me on my fitness journey. We all have a story of where we have been. Life can be such a roller coaster of gaining and losing weight. I hope to help those I teach or train to become a better, stronger, healthier version of themselves. Not only physically but mentally as well and to celebrate all those victories with you.
